Make Money By Promoting Green Environment
Let’s imagine that we are… relaxing and lying down on a hammock under a shade of a big leafy trees, near the river or sea; hearing the sounds of the flowing water or the waves of sea rushing to the shore; listening to the chirps of the birds like sweet music; feeling the cool breeze; and smelling the fresh scent of the air.
Yeah, it’s cool to relax with green environment. But, it’s no time to relax as today is “Environment Day”, organized by the Blog Action Day. Today, all bloggers are invited to join and write about “Environment”, donate to environmental charities, and/or promote Blog Action Day around the web. So, do something good for the environment today.
Environment is universally defined as “all external conditions and circumstances that affect the life, development and survival of an organism”. Based on Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), organism is an individual living system such as animal, plant, or micro-organism, that is capable of reproduction, growth and maintenance. In short, environment is the earth and its inhabitants.
Nowadays, care for the environment must be a priority. Our environment is being damaged by the global warming caused by the greenhouse gases due to rampant deforestation, too much pollution, explosions, chemical waste, and many more the enhances production or lessens consumption of carbon dioxide. Sadly, they’re all made by humans.
Global warming has abnormally changing the earth’s landscape, through tornadoes, hurricanes, cyclones and earthquakes. It is the manifestation of the wrath of nature due to our irresponsible and greedy actions. The ozone layer that protects us from the devastating ultraviolet heat of the sun is being diminished by the pollution we make.
The earth is slowly dying but it’s not too late. We can still prevent the earth from total extinction. We can maintain a green environment for our future and generations to come. Only if all of us will care and do our duty to preserve the earth.

Thank you for taking part in Blog Action Day.
Unfortunately, I did not participate.
However, I wrote a belated post about deforestation in Brazil. As a real estate agent in Minneapolis, I see a lot of people using a product in luxury homes that is very destructive to rainforests, and causes untold human suffering. Check out this post, please:
Brazilian Teak, Slave Labor, Luxury Homes, and the Destruction of the Rainforest.

I realize I made this url too long. If it got cut off in the comment form, you can easily find it at:

Anything you can do to share this link or help promote awareness of this issue will be greatly appreciated. Most luxury home owners in Minnesota are unaware of the environmental and human cost of these products. Most Brazilian teak found in Minneapolis homes did not come from legal sources. I feel sort of ill every time I walk into a home that has Brazilian teak floors.
