Top 5 Tips To Win Problogger’s Top 5 Group Writing Project Contest
Here is my Top 5 tips to help you win the ProBlogger’s Top 5 Group Writing Project Contest.
1. Post Your Best “Top 5″ in Your Blog
Write your best top 5. Keep in mind that a shining $1,001 is at stake. Search “top 5″ keyword terms in Google to give you a good idea.
Compile the great ideas from your own imagination and from your research. But never copy anyone’s Top 5. It’s theirs, not yours.
Make an intriguing title like this post. Use your imagination to surprise or amaze other participants.
Post your best top 5 in your blog or site, not in Forum or social networking sites.
Though it is not required, link back to the Group Writing Project Contest post. Who knows? Darren may change his mind and give some points on this.
2. Inform ProBlogger or Darren Rowse
Fill in the Group Writing Project Contest form.
Fill in the form accurately as the way you enter it is the way it’ll appear as Darren has no time to edit everyone’s submission.
Give your valid email address not the email you’re using for spamming, email list or free for all advertising. Don’t worry, Darren knows how to keep secret. He respects the privacy of his fans.
Don’t forget to submit the form on Thursday. It is the Thursday in your location’s local time, not in Darren’s time. So, set your alarm clock in whatever high-tech gadget you have at 12:00 am, Friday, May 11. If you hear the alarm and have not submitted your best Top 5. Don’t worry, keep calm, sleep well as surely you’re not a winner. Just wait for the next ProBlogger’s Group Writing Contest.
If luckily you have submitted your post before the alarm, then expect that you cannot have a good sleep as you will be excited to know if you win.
Be proud of your post, make a noise or buzz on the web. Submit your post to Digg.com where people are noisy and waiting for rumors or gossips to dig or to bury. Expect that your post will be buried by other participants who think you will win. If you have money, make a press release for the launching of your Top 5 post for ProBlogger contest.
3. Allow ProBlogger to Link Back
After submitting your post, Darren will link to it in 2 places, on a daily list and on a central list of all submissions. Don’t reject this offer. This is his promise to all who submitted their Top 5 posts.
Anyway, your blog or post will be benefited from his link to your post. He can bring hundreds to thousands of his readers to your blog. Be ready to receive this web traffic avalanche.
4. Love Other Top 5 Posts
On this part, you have to show that you’re energetic. Better drink Red Bull or your favorite energy drink as you are going to read other submissions, leave comments, bookmark their pages, make connections with other ProBlogger readers and enjoy reading others Top 5.
Never let others’ Top 5 posts distract you or disappoint you. There may be some posts that you may think that are better than yours. Don’t worry, Darren said that there’s no formal judging criteria and the winner will be randomly selected. Just keep on visiting and socializing with other participants. Keep a time limit for each visit to be able for you to know more participants.
Give links of love to other top 5 posts, like this:

5. Pray To Win
This is the most important part of this Top 5 tips. If you believe in God, don’t pray that you’ll win but pray that people like Darren Rowse and organizations like Chitika be blessed more for sharing their success and blessings to other bloggers, webmasters and readers.
Pray that whoever wins this contest will share the money to the needy especially for the children thru charitable organizations like Plan-International and SaveTheChildren.
If you are non-believer, then make a scientific or other approach that will make other people share their blessings or knowledge to make a better world.
On top of this Top 5 tips, I’ll pray for you to win the ProBlogger’s Top 5 Group Writing Project Contest. But I’m sure, we are all winners here.
